Singlish

Singlish is getting more recognition and is a creole in its own right.

Books

  • An Essential Guide to Singlish
  • Spiaking Singlish: A companion to how Singaporeans communicate, I’ve been told this is more for the intermediate communicators of Singlish.
  • There’s also the Coxford Singlish Dictionary, but it’s very hard to find without costing you hundreds of dollars, so I shall not link it here.

Dictionaries

  • Singlish online dictionary, launched in 2004, some terms have become outdated.
